Taurus New Moon 2025 – April 27, 2025
In the previous post, I described opposition of Mars to Pluto within a Grand Cross formed with Lilith in Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus. These transits form the background for the New Moon in Taurus, which will take place on April 27, 2025, with the presence of the Moon tightening up the Grand Cross. Classically, a New Moon is about new beginnings, but also about releasing the old to make space for the new. This New Moon brings into the Grand Cross the possibility of releasing what no longer serves us, and this is connected to the positions of Mars in opposition to Pluto and to the opposition of Lilith to the new Moon.Themes of safety, stability, grounding in material reality, self-worth, and the rooting of one's own truth, authenticity, embodiment of standards in relationships, and the conclusion of karmic cycles related to relationships and our value within all kinds of partnerships. Additionally, work with the shadow, with repressed taboos – around deep desires, lust, impulses we are ashamed of. There may be strong tensions in the areas of personal power, control, ego, authenticity, and the collective in opposition to us, exerting pressure, stirring up layers of shame, and the urge to escape from others' judgment. Above all, we face further work with our shame, perfectionism, and self-esteem, which have limited us and forced us to serve others (and the collective) at our own expense.

Pluto in Aquarius – represents collective, systemic, revolutionary force. It does not tolerate falsehood, it exposes truth, ruthlessly striking at points of the ego that do not resonate with the authenticity of one's own truth. This serves the awakening of raw potential. Pluto wants us to know what we are fighting for and why we are on stage, it wants us to serve truth, which is the foundation of society’s future.
Mars in Leo gives us all the chance to become visible. And not because we just want to shine, but because our presence carries value and truth. It gives us energy, motivation to embrace our personal power, creativity, and to begin acting in specific areas of life, taking strategic actions,aligned with our passion.
Lilith in Scorpio shows everything that comes from the dark goddess, uncompromisingly exposing the deepest shadow, revealing what is suppressed, denied, forbidden. She is the force of anger, shame, trauma, and unwanted power, which was buried because it did not fit into ego narratives or social norms. It demands to be seen, accepted, integrated here and now.She tests if you have the courage to be visible not only in your light but also with the wound in which your power was born in the first place.
Sun may now reveal where ego expression has no foundation in practice, resources, or everyday values.
