In this article we will explore the influence of Neptune in Aries, in personal perspective, focusing on rising signs and how they may experience this transit. We won’t be touching up on his influence on collectives, we will be focusing on our personal lessons and processes.
Let’s start with Neptune - what this planet is about, what its influence actually is?
Neptune is a great dissolver of control. His voice tells us: release, let go, immerse without control, without direction, dive deep in spiritual meaning, explore the vastness of meanings, interconnectedness of everything that exists, your interconnectedness with everything, taste unconditional love, acceptance, trust in universe, let the imagination take you out of reality, let the dream guide you, let yourself receive deep healing through immersion, follow your fantasy, your longing for something that is not yet named.
In negative aspects, Neptune brings foggy energy, deception, illusions, overflow and dissolution of boundaries. Through loosening up our control gives push to our addictions, escapism. It makes us at times reluctant and avoiding, trying to escape into another reality, where our fantasies are true. Can make delusions stronger, amplify irrationality, procrastination. It can make it impossible to understand or convey our message in a concise way. Logic isn’t his favourite tool, he uses symbols that speak to the subconscious, making his messages a dreamscape you can lose yourself in. When you direct your attention and give power to shadows under his influence - they can become very scary and very overwhelming, chasing you into places in which you have no control over what is happening. He opens up for absorption of negativity, it sinks down like a stone thrown into a pond.
Neptune moved into Aries on 30th March 2025 and he will stay here for 14 years. Now he begins his new cycle that will last 165 years. His energy was cleansed and replenished while he was transiting the sign he rules (Pisces) and now he entered the sign of Aries - to bring us a fiery new beginning, in regards to all that he rules over.
Let’s explore how his influence changed.
In Pisces Neptune was feeling pretty good, being in his home. That brought a lot of Neptunian energies, doubling the impact. Illusions? Double the strength. Ideologies? Double the strength. Mystical dreaming and escapism? DOUBLE THE STRENGTH. Through entire 13 years Neptune was creating an excess of his energies in the entire world. Deepening the dreamscape into infinity. Making people want to run away from reality - anywhere really. Into addictions to everything that creates an illusion that is comfortable to slumber in and soften up the edges of hard, material world. We all were swimming in this energy, in these depths of passive absorption, without knowing how to name it properly, directly. Logic made a break for coffee. We were creating surreal and not based in reality visions, fantasising about whatever our ego needs to feel like reality isn’t this bad. It was narcotic dream after surgery - we reference Neptune in Aquarius being a tool of awakening → illusions, dreams and visions that shock, electrify consciousness, giving it speed it needs to ascend but also rip itself out of system, at all costs, often creating trauma of own rebellion, survival and leaving us with deep grief after illusions we lost through awakening. Very necessary process that allowed us to get in touch with our subconscious, immerse ourselves and ask: What unnamed dreams I have? Without selection what is possible and what is surreal.
What Neptune in Aries brings us? Awakening :) But not to new, higher consciousness like Aquarius. To action. Neptune in Aries gives us dreams that spark fire of motivation, foster bravado, create impulses to go after dreams. It gives us a more strategic approach, allowing us to sort out the unnecessary details and focus on this one thing that makes us burn with impatience to manifest into reality. No longer we escape into another world, now we want to escape through pioneering reality, making this other one real through action.
Our visions become sharper, more passionate. They are less about escaping and more about letting go of reason and allowing action to possess our mind with flames of creativity. We say: “fuck the overthinking, fuck the rules, let’s do it on sheer impulse, riding the wave”. Control is being dissolved in the area of self-expression. Neptunian waters become gasoline for flames of Aries. As much as it is an inspiring and motivating force that will take many of us far… This is also dangerous impulsivity without control. It reminds me of wildfires that start with one spark and burn the whole land to the ground. It is a force that can undo the systems. On a personal level - systems of beliefs, illusions, habits, inhibitions…
They will stand in flames and fuel our expression of self, giving us spiritual courage and impulse to take that idealistic action. It will also fuel illusions about who we are - ego will be loud now. On a global level? It will definitely take illusions from the screens and take them into action, motivating ego-driven people to follow the ideology of burning down the limits. What limits? Depends on the side. And that will be also a reality check - who has power to act on their dreams, who only pretends and will fold back, self-destructing with those dreams? Or who, fueled by ideology, is able to burn the world. Whose ego only needed a spark to act on delusions? We will see it all unfolding now.
